A Brief Introduction

The Boott Cotton Mill in Lowell, Massachusetts is an important site for the American Industrial Revolution. Through distance learning, Becky Warren and Kristin Gallas of the National Park Service are collaborating with the International Department of Zhixin High School.

The Revitalization of The Boott Cotton Mill



The Boott Cotton Mill was a textile factory opened in 1835, but today it has adapted into a museum. Freda, Alexandra, and Geri investigated the memorial textile representing a difinitive period early US history.

Lowell Immigration


During the 19th century, the city of Lowell experienced various waves of immigration, Oska, Sam and Richard made a video about their stories.
